IronMen for Mom



Eight Upstate men will compete in Ironman Florida in honor of the moms in their lives.  While each have different personal reasons and goals for accepting the challenge, the eight have come together to form a team, Iron Men for Mom.  Together, they strive for more than the elite title that they will receive when they cross the finish line, they also plan for each stroke, spin, and stride to raise money for Let There Be Mom.  The endurance triathlon race will be held in Panama City Beach, Florida on November 1, 2008.

The team has set a fundraising goal of $60,000 and is actively seeking sponsorship, both corporate and individual.  If you would like to support their efforts and the moms we serve, please contact the team.

Let There Be Mom was created to help mothers who have been diagnosed with a life threatening illness set up their legacy.  We are here to assist these moms in preserving the traditions they have started, the memories they have made and the hopes and dreams they have for their children.   We hope that each mom we work with makes a full recovery, however in the event that she is taken from this earth, Let There Be Mom will have helped her leave something for her children to embrace. 

Our teams of volunteers also step in to help alleviate some of life’s everyday stresses.  This allows Let There Be Mom families time to focus on their health and on creating more memories. 

Let There Be Mom Inc is a non-profit corporation, founded in January of  2007 in the state of  SC.  We are a 501(c)(3), tax exempt organization.
