We are in the planning stages of the Second Annual Dine Out For Mom scheduled for October 23, 2008.  This event was widely embraced by the Upstate community and proved to be hugely successful for Let There Be Mom, our sponsors, and our participating restaurants.  Eighty percent of the restaurants that participated in Dine Out for Mom 2007 reported a 30% - 40% increase in business on the day of the event.  Many new faces walked into those restaurants that day and have become loyal costumers, but most importantly, every mom that has requested the services of Let There Be Mom has received our help because of the generosity of our sponsors and participating restaurants.  In addition to our corporate  sponsors, Entercom Radio Group, FOX , HIS Radio, and WYFF played a big role in getting the word out for us.

Dine Out for Mom 2007, presented by Cancer Centers of the Carolinas, was held on Thursday, October 18. 

On October 18, 2007, the First Annual Dine Our for Mom was held.  The participating restaurants served many  Let There Be Mom supporters and then donated a percentage of their sales from the day to our organization.  We have had wonderful feedback from
the restaurants and their patrons.  The majority of the restaurants reported having a 30% - 40% increase in business for the day!
